Shlomi Kariv is CEO of All Seasons Underwriting Insurance Agency Ltd (ASUA), leaders in the Travel Insurance and Expat Insurance Industry.  They are launching in the 2nd quarter of 2011 a medical tourism insurance policy. ASUA also underwrites travel and expatriate medical schemes internationally.

His background as an executive in insurance and with governments is extensive.  For example he was Managing Director of Israel's NHS (National Health Service) Subsidiaries developing the program that insures approx. 50,000 expatriates.

Kariv worked with Shai Gold of International-Triage to put together a plan for governments in the Caribbean islands to help those governments take care of indigents who needed treatment that the island locations couldn't provide.

He also works with associations of people to arrange group insurance policies, for example The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with respect to supplying travel insurance.

What’s unique here is that he also groups industry-related businesses into umbrella group coverage for better rates.  For example, he is the exclusive provider of insurance products for GEOS, an entire eco-system of service providers that encompass security, safety and reliable communications for all travelers.

What this means that industry-related groups can bundle their membership to benefit from the insurance rates that are normally only available to groups of people with hundreds of thousands of members.
