Guaymas and a small subdivision called San Carlos are often linked together and can be found on a small bay on the Gulf of California in Sonora, Mexico. Guaymas is the second largest port on Mexico’s Pacific coast. Relaxed seaside living describes the life for the many retirees, expatiates, and tourists. It draws approximately 70 percent of San Carlos’ population from the United States and Canada, some as snowbirds, others full time. There is lots to do; diving, boating, fishing, golfing, or lounging in the RV park or resort.
